... A Tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson

In 2004, Jay established his own Michael Jackson Tribute Act - JMJ Productions. It became known as the one of the most sensational and astonishing tribute acts to hit the scene.

"Jay's amazing dance moves, vocals, image and persona creates a soulful illusion of the man himself, both physically and mentally, making you feel as though you are entering a deeper perspective of performance itself. JMJ is a phenomenal extravaganza you will never forget!" (Paul Akinbanjo, MJ News Online).

As a very young fan, Jay was continuously amazed by Michael’s excitement and magic, leading him to begin studying and imitating those trademark dance moves. From as early as the age of three, he began dancing like Michael at various shows and parties. He even had his very own personal tailor who made all his Michael Jackson outfits and accessories, from the famous jackets and to the sparkling gloves. During his teens, he began performing at larger, well-known venues, making his shows bigger and much more powerful and also having the opportunity to perform at various theatres in London.  He also choreographed various dance acts and worked with several professional dancers.

When Jay reached the age of sixteen, he begun singing as Michael, as well as dancing like him.  He began picking up on Michael’s vocal techniques and imitating his voice on stage.  By putting his dance and vocal abilities together, along with the look, his popularity raised rapidly. He attracted a huge audience of Michael Jackson fans and the general public, who were all very impressed with his performances. From all this inspiration from his idol and the music scene itself, Jay started writing his own songs. This combined his love for both music and poetry.

Today, Jay & JMJ Productions has earned itself the title of being one of the best Michael Jackson tribute acts in world. Now, Jay continues to master new skills and seek new challenges. He is always creating new boundaries for himself and wishes to further and focus his career on his solo music.
